Billing Terms

  

During the first meeting, the fees are clearly discussed between the client and the lawyer.

 

Three billing methods are then possible depending on the file:

 

• A fixed fee for the entire file defined according to the work to be carried out;

 

• An hourly rate applied to the time actually spent on the file;

 

• A fixed fee or an hourly rate supplemented by a performance fee .

 

In all cases, the fees are set by mutual agreement with the client according to the latter's financial resources and the complexity of the case.
